I am a Gloucestershire-based Landscape Archaeologist providing archaeological illustrations and research services.
I hold a PhD in Archaeology awarded by the Universities of Exeter and Bristol in 2017. I have worked as a university-based archaeological researcher and illustrator and since 2021 I have provided freelance services to clients ranging from professional archaeologists, historic buildings specialists, academics, private researchers and authors.
I offer an efficient and flexible client-focused service, and my commitment to my clients’ work results in superior outcomes and value for money compared to commercial archaeological units.
My illustrations and research have been published in several books and academic articles, as well as in ‘grey literature’ and management reports. My own book, Rabbit Farming in the Middle Ages and Beyond: A Landscape History, is due to published by Liverpool University Press in late 2026.
My work has covered a range of historical and geographical topics, ranging from site-specific illustrations to local, regional and national mapping. And though primarily focussed on UK history and archaeology, I have also produced illustrations for reports covering sites in central Europe, Zimbabwe, Singapore and South-East Asia.
